Seeing as the Tesla Coil was the first circuit that I have ever built, and my favourite circuit for that matter, the HFSSTC (High Frequency Solid State Tesla Coil) was naturally my next step. I first saw a simple version of the circuit on the amazing youtube channel : “Teslaundmehr”, and that was the circuit that I ended up using and perfecting for my version. There are a few things I have to say about the circuit though…. IT IS EXTREMLY SENSITIVE! It walks on a thin line between blowing up and not working at all. It is also very picky about the components and materials you use. The list that follows explains all the things that need to be taken into consideration and the improvements I brought to the circuit in the hope of improving it.
