M101 Pinwheel Galaxy

This project had a few issues. I had just 2 clear nights in which I hoped to capture this target, but the seeing was pretty bad and the sky was kind of hazy. I totaled 6 hours of exposure but just 1 hour was usable as dew formed on my coma corrector not long after that.

On the left here you can see what one of the flat images looks like. As you can see it’s very hazy and washed out, but I would say the final image turned out pretty good considering the conditions. You can see more on my Astrobin page : https://www.astrobin.com/2xpnzu/
